Suzanne graduated from The Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Glenside, PA, the first graduate school in the state of Pennsylvania to have an ACAOM (Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) accredited acupuncture program. She earned a three year Master's Degree in Acupuncture, and is licensed in Acupuncture, by the State of Pennsylvania. Suzanne practices a variety of styles of acupuncture including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element, Korean Four Needle, Japanese, Auricular, and Tung Style Hand Acupuncture. She also uses adjunctive techniques such as Moxibustion, Cupping, Gua Sha, and Electrical Stimulation to accomplish results.
Suzanne is passionate about the holistic health care approach. She incorporates acupuncture and other modalities such as nutrition, to bring healing to individuals who are concerned with improving their quality of life. She genuinely cares about the health and improvement of her patients and strives for success. Her areas of interest are Women's Health (infertility, painful menstruation, amenorrhea, menopause), Migraine, Insomnia, Pain (chronic and sports injuries), Frozen Shoulder, Allergies, and Digestive disorders such as IBS, Crohn's Disease, and Ulcerative Colitis.
Originally from Harleysville, Suzanne left the area to earn her undergraduate B.A. in Biology from Goshen College, Goshen, IN. Since then, she worked as a pharmaceutical researcher, but found that she loved working directly with people to improve their health, rather than from behind the scenes. Her background in Biology allows her to work in collaboration with her patient's doctors to benefit her patient's health. She is excited to be home and practicing at Indian Valley Acupuncture in conjunction with the Indian Valley Wellness Group!
